Neo does not collect or share any kind of data specified within the extension. This includes from your preferences to other data received from other external APIs
All of your preferences are stored within the browser and are only used when needed. They do not leave the extension
Neo syncs your preferences with other devices if all signed in to the same account, and sync is turned on.
Neo is a voice based extension, wich means it requires michrophone access.
By default, Neo is allways listening in the background.
This is because you can trigger Neo using a custom keyword (e.g "Hey neo").
Not everyone wants the microphone to be always on, so there's an option to disable that in the settings page > other > permissions > background listen
The microphone will always remain off untill Neo is triggered with one of the following ways:
With integrations, Neo can to connect to other services to enhance it's functionality, and provide you with usefull information.
Neo can now connect to your Google account, and provide you with usefull information such as calendar events or recent emails.

All of the data requested is necessary in order to display the relevant information across the extension.
Here below is an example of hoy the data is used.
In the settings for the Google integration, you can manually select which calendars Neo is allowed to read events from, and the same with your email inboxes.
I do not collect any of the data requested from Google's APIs. Any data requested from the APIs will only be used for the single purposes as described above, and will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
*Collecting data also includes using it for selling/advertising purposes. All the data received will not leave the extension whatsoever.
